Adam Gore Ph.D.

- Former Horticulture Extension Agent with Clemson University with focus in turfgrass agronomy and weed science.
- Holds Ph.D. and Master’s degrees in Plant and Environmental Sciences from Clemson University as well as a Bachelor’s in Agricultural Education from Clemson.
- Frequently wanders off from groups to looking for weeds
James Hempfling Ph.D.

- 20+ years of turfgrass industry experience, including running a landscape business and working as an assistant superintendent in OK and NJ
- Holds a BS from Oklahoma State and MS/PhD from Rutgers
- Previously served as a Field Development Scientist with Bayer in California and Solution Development Manager with Envu in North Carolina
- Built a sand-based bentgrass green in high school, sparking a lifelong passion for turfgrass science and the golf industry despite the green’s short-lived success/li>
