In2Care Mosquito Station
In2Care Mosquito Station
Product Overview
The In2Care® Mosquito Station turns mosquitoes into part of the solution — and into a continuous revenue driver — spreading control where professionals can't, stopping both adult mosquitoes and larvae.
Leveraging two active ingredients, the In2Care Mosquito Station is engineered to beat mosquitoes at their own game while creating earning opportunities between visits. When a female mosquito enters the station, an adulticide and a larvicide adhere to its body. From there, the mosquito then carries the larvicide to breeding sites, contaminating them before dying in 6–12 days.
In2Care delivers precise, targeted control of nuisance mosquitoes, eliminating Aedes and Culex species while leaving yards and pollinators undisturbed. The station works 24/7 and can be deployed at any time, eliminating mosquitoes even after your team leaves. This helps you service more jobs, reduce callbacks and earn more without adding time or labor.
Key Features
- Dual-power actives in the form of an adulticide and larvicide for multigenerational control
- Auto-dissemination of control, contaminating cryptic breeding sites other applicators can’t
- No batteries or power source required
- Targeted precision, harms only mosquitoes
- Quick install, easy to use and maintain — no power, drilling or digging needed
- Works 24/7 to continuously control mosquitoes while you’re not on-site
- Durable, all-weather construction; Stations last up to 5 years
Use & Control
Controls both adult and larval Aedes and Culex mosquitoes.
In2Care can be used as a revenue-generating add-on to barrier treatments or as a standalone recurring service. It extends control between visits, increases program value and supports predictable four- to six-week recurring revenue while helping reduce callbacks.
The In2Care Mosquito Station can be deployed at any time. For commercial and residential use. On average, professionals deploy two to three stations per yard. Sachets can be replaced every 4–8 weeks.

FAQ
How does the In2Care Mosquito Station attract mosquitoes?
The black color, design, water and the special organic odor lure will attract egg-laying females. The station is designed to be attractive to Aedes mosquitoes that prefer a natural vertical surface when laying eggs. The mesh creates the perfect surface. Other mosquito species, such as Culex mosquitoes, can also be attracted to lay eggs inside the trap.
How does the In2Care Mosquito Station support recurring revenue?
The station works continuously between service visits, providing ongoing mosquito control without additional labor time. Because refills are required every four to six weeks, it aligns naturally with recurring service schedules. This supports predictable revenue, reduces callbacks and creates additional earning opportunities as an add-on service within existing mosquito or lawn care programs.
Can I see dead mosquitoes in my In2Care Mosquito Station?
The biological fungus in the trap will kill the adult female mosquito in 8–10 days. The infection takes time because the fungus spores need to penetrate the mosquito’s skin and grow into her body. In that time frame, she will contaminate other breeding sites near the station and die afterward. When you see a lot of dead larvae inside the station, you know it’s working.
What does this mean when I see a lot of living larvae in my In2Care Mosquito Station?
The special larvicide in the station kills mosquito larvae before they pupate, in most cases. The larvae in the trap will therefore die right before they would otherwise emerge into adult mosquitoes. These dead pupae are often eaten by the larvae, and you will not be able to see them in the water. Live larvae inside the station does not mean it is not working. On the contrary, the larval odors actually make the trap even more attractive to egg-laying females.
How often do I need to refill the water in the In2Care Mosquito Station?
We recommend replenishing the water in the station, together with the new refi ll, every four to six weeks. However, during dry periods, it might be necessary to add water more often. This can be done without removing the lid, by pouring water on top of the station. In drier areas, 1 liter of water every four weeks may be needed.
Will the In2Care Mosquito Station also have an effect on other mosquito species?
The station is designed for the control of Aedes aegypti, a mosquito species that is the vector of dengue and chikungunya virus and breeds typically in small, artificial (man-made) containers. For other mosquito species that prefer similar breeding places, like several Culex mosquitoes, the station will also be attractive. The actives in the station will also have an impact on other mosquito species. The dissemination effect of the larvicide, however, is specific to the Aedes mosquito, which likes to lay eggs in multiple places.
What happens when it rains a lot? Does this dilute the larvicide and reduce the In2Care Mosquito Station efficacy?
The larvicide in the water of the station works in very low concentrations — less than 0.001 milligram per liter of water. The amount of larvicide added to the station water is sufficient to kill all larvae in the station, even with a lot of rain. The station is designed to prevent overflow. We also recommend placing the stations in shaded, vegetated areas.
If I still get mosquito bites, does this mean the In2Care Mosquito Station does not work properly?
It will take some time to have the larvicide disseminated in the area, and therefore, after a few (three to four) weeks, a significant population impact can be expected. The station does not target mosquitoes when they are in search of a blood meal. It is specifically designed for mosquitoes at the moment they are laying eggs. However, a high enough coverage of stations in your area will cause a decrease in the number of mosquitoes and will reduce the chance of disease. In addition, an initial barrier treatment with Barricor® Essential Mosquito Control is recommended.
What effect will the In2Care Mosquito Station have on my pets?
The active ingredients in the station are not toxic to birds or mammals. The system uses a biological fungus that is only toxic to insects.
