Expands Innovation Pipeline: Durentis™ Insecticide Now on Fertilizer
Strategic partnerships with formulators give lawn care operators and golf course superintendents increased access to a single integrated solution.
CARY, N.C., September 2, 2025 – Envu is proud to announce Durentis™ insecticide is now available to its industry partners who formulate fertilizers. Beginning early September 2025, formulators can register their respective fertilizer with Durentis insecticide brands in states for customers to purchase in preparation of the 2026 application season. This innovation aims to reduce the on-site demands of applying two separate products — a fertilizer and then an insecticide — ultimately increasing efficiencies for golf course superintendents and lawn care operators.
“Durentis on fertilizer is a project we have been working on for many years; to say we are excited is an understatement,” said Kyle Richards, product manager, insecticides at Envu. “This innovation helps address customer needs and pain points, providing an integrated solution and reliable customer experience. Durentis on fertilizer will be available this fall.”
The active ingredient in Durentis insecticide, chlorantraniliprole, controls all white grub species and key problematic Lepidopteran pests including fall armyworms. The integration of Durentis on a fertilizer carrier provides season-long grub control while ensuring optimum turfgrass health with custom blends and nutrient offerings.
