Envu herbicide solutions – your roadside advantage

Long-term control & savings

Envu herbicide solutions provide consistent control and can make a real difference in your roadside vegetation management program.

  • Often provides season-long control even in sensitive areas.
  • Multiple modes of action provide herbicide resistance management.
  • Efficacy – provides added control of seed bank beyond the bareground area.
  • Flexibility – can apply in fall and spring.
  • Reduces retreats and can help spread the operation further with fewer resources.
  • Low use rates – check rates on label or contact your Envu rep or qualified distributor.

Weeds controlled:

  • Kochia
  • Russian thistle
  • invasive annual grasses
  • noxious broadleaf weeds.

See product labels for a complete list of weeds controlled.

Site uses:

  • Bareground on road shoulders (Zone 1), cable barriers, guardrails
  • Selective treatments on medians and backslopes – including spot treatments of noxious weeds, or occasional broadcast of selective brush and broadleaf weed treatments

“We’re getting great results. I used to have to come back towards the end of the growing season and go after the kochia that was starting to breakthrough. Now, I don’t have to come back to an area for two years.”

– James Dubois, Colorado Department of Transportation

“We’ll get several years of control, at least two years of invasive plants not being able to germinate.”

– Rick Johnstone, President, IVM Partners

Recommended timing

Envu recommends applying herbicides in the fall or spring. Acres treated successfully in the fall or early season provide increased flexibility and availability to address other needs, like noxious treatments, in the spring/early summer. Since moisture is needed to activate herbicides, applying in the summer is not recommended due to limited moisture amounts.

Consider a fall application – due to the uncertainties of spring weather, a fall application provides more suitable conditions for herbicide activation and effectiveness.
